I headed up to Santa Barbara for the day to photograph Ally and Tommy’s wedding at the Rincon Beach Club. They first got ready at the Santa Barbara Inn, which is super classy, right by the ocean, and had awesome sun light. I first got to Ally’s room, said my hellos, made sure everything was good to go, and then ran over to Tommy’s room. They were both super anxious about getting to the ceremony and everything being on time. It’s completely natural and let them know this is what I do! They had their first look on their Santa Barbara Inn room balcony which was probably the best place for them. It kept them secluded, intimate, and without a ton of people watching them.
After the first look, we headed over to Rincon Beach Club in Carpinteria for their wedding ceremony and reception. Photographing weddings on the beach can sometimes be tricky because of the light, location, and Mother Nature. The wind was brutal but they powered through it. They wanted to take more photos on the beach with just themselves which was great because the light was insane. We spent about 15 minutes on wedding portraits and then headed back to Rincon Beach Club were we met all their guests and family. From the grand entrance until the last dance, they partied, chatted with guests, gave out hugs, and enjoyed their night.
Here’s list of awesome vendors I worked with on that day.
